In our boardrooms you can make use of a LCD-projector with screen and a flip-chart. These technical equipments, as well as wireless internet are included in the price.

A walking dinner at Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam is a special and unique experience. By combining the special architecture and atmosphere with a culinary dinner you will have an evening you will never forget.
During a walking dinner you and your guests will experience every course in another unique environment of the hotel. There are several options for this walking dinner, imagine yourself under a stained glass rooftop in the Van Der Mey hall while having your first course. If the weather permits we can serve the second course on the rooftop with view over the city and finish with dessert in the wine vault. You will experience the unique pater noster elevators, only 2 buildings in Amsterdam have these elevators in working order and we love to share this with you.
During the dinner you will have the time to see, taste and watch the history of this monumental building “het Scheepvaarthuis”.

During your event we serve seasonal lunches, coffee breaks and dinners. You will enjoy the French - International cuisine, which is inspired by the Mediterranean. The cooking art of our Chef and his brigade will tickle your senses.
For lunch and dinner we welcome you and your guests in restaurant Seven Seas. For groups up to 60 people we will exclusively reserve one side of our restaurant.
Enlarge your luxury Amrâth experience with a walking dinner. During this dinner you and your guests will be dining throughout the hotel, each course served in a different unique venue of the hotel, the old Shipping House. To give an example; the starter is served in the Van der Mey hall under the stained glass ceiling and the dessert in the Wine Vault.
Several halls and meeting rooms can be booked for meetings and events. We offer 8 meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 32 persons in boardroom set up, 34 persons in a cabaret set up, 71 in a theatre set up. Larger groups are on request.
The most impressive hall is the famous ‘Beraadzaal’, where the shipping barons used to have their meetings. This room is still completely intact, including all the furniture.
In restaurant Seven Seas you can dine with groups up to 130 persons. Your guests can be seated at long tables or banquet rounds. Our enthusiastic and creative restaurant staff will bring your ideas to life.
Nieuwenhuis I and JP Coen II have beautiful high ceilings and create an unique atmosphere for your meeting, breakfast, lunch or dinner. At the fixed table with very comfortable chairs you can sit down with up to six persons.
JP Coen I has beautiful high windows with a beautiful view over the Prins Hendrikkade. With the classic wooden floor this is an unique location. A boardroom set-up can accommodate up to 16 people.
Ray’s Club, this is our largest room with its own bar. Ideal for welcoming your guests or simply to have a nice break during your meeting. It is also the perfect location for a reception up to 150 persons. The position in the souterrain makes it a typical Amsterdam sight with passing legs and bicycle wheels. When having a meeting in the Ray’s Club, the coffee/tea breaks and informal lunch can take place at the other side of the Ray’s Club, because this venue has a V-shaped body.
The Wine Vault; behind the huge door of the former bank safe of the Shipping House you now will find a “wine vault”. You will enjoy your wines twice as much by the special and timeless atmosphere from our house wine up to exclusive top wines. It is a perfect location for the aperitif from your dinner, a wine tasting or a meeting.
Van der Mey Hall; marble interior and the beautiful stained-glass ceiling in the impressive staircase with three floors form a special atmosphere for your reception, break or drinks. An inspiring environment. The Van der Mey Hall is available in combination with one of the meeting or banqueting rooms.

When your guests arrive; coffee, tea, butter biscuits and chocolates, fresh fruit and mineral water are already in the meeting room. Depending on the duration of the event this will be refreshed on a regular basis.
Moreover a selection of soda’s are available in the meeting room. Around 10 AM your guests will be served a light snack during the morning break. Between 12.30 PM and 1.30 PM lunch is served in restaurant Seven Seas. On request we can serve the lunch in the meeting room, buffet style. Around 3 PM your guests will have a moment to relax and enjoy a snack.
