Check-in is from 2:00 PM for all reservations made directly through our websites. For all other booking channels, check-in is from 3:00 PM. Check-out is available for everyone until 11:00 AM.
Renovation of public areas:
From 9 February to 11 March, the floors in our public areas will be renovated in phases. During this period, we will do everything possible to ensure your stay remains as comfortable as possible. However, guests may experience minor inconvenience.
For one week, the reception will be temporarily relocated to the lobby, and the breakfast may be served at an alternative location within the hotel.

The hotel reception is open 24/7, which means that there will always be someone there to welcome you, regardless of your time of arrival.
Only certified assistance dogs are welcome in our hotel. Unfortunately, we cannot allow other pets.
The hotel is completely non-smoking. That means no smoking in the hotel, rooms, balcony and other public areas.
At the reception we accept the following payment methods: pin (contactless) or by credit card. Payment with cash is not possible.
Yes, luggage storage is available free of charge if you wish to leave your luggage at the hotel before check-in or after check-out.
Yes, the hotel is accessible for guests with disabilities. For more information about the available facilities, please refer to our FAQ on 'Accessibility Facilities' at the bottom of this page.
It is allowed when the parents have signed a written statement. We also ask for a copy of the passport of all underage guests, in case there is no adult present.
To guarantee your reservation before arrival, the amount on your credit card will be authorized at noon on the day before your arrival. At check-in you can pay with another payment card, the authorization taken earlier will be cancelled.
You can change or cancel your reservation by contacting the booking channel where you made your reservation. Please check your personal reservation confirmation for the specific cancellation policy.
From Monday to Friday you can enjoy breakfast from 07:00 - 10:00. And on weekends from 07:00 to 11:00.
From 9 February to 11 March, breakfast may temporarily be served at an alternative location within the hotel due to renovation works.
From Monday through Sunday, you can enjoy dinner at our own Seven Seas restaurant from 12:00 - 10:00 p.m.
The bar is open daily from 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Yes it is certainly possible to use breakfast. Please contact the hotel by phone to adjust your reservation for this purpose.
The Spa & Wellness and swimming pool are open daily from 07:00 to 23:00.
Note: The whirlpool is temporarily out of service. We expect it to be available again in the week of 15 December.
The Spa & Wellness is open every day from 07:00 to 23:00 and accessible to both adults and children. Use of our Spa & Wellness facilities is possible only when you stay in our hotel.
Yes only as a hotel guest you can use the pool for free. Beauty treatments can be booked at an additional charge.

Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam has its own parking lot with 18 parking spaces. The parking lot is located directly under the hotel, and parking in this lot is for a fee. It is possible to reserve the parking lot in advance, and they are available based on availability.

Yes sure, you can rent a regular or an electric bike during your stay at our reception.
Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam is easily accessible by public transport. Amsterdam station is an 8-minute walk from the hotel and 8 minutes by car.
Due to large-scale roadworks in 2025 in Amsterdam, our hotel may be less accessible by car. Plan your trip carefully and use public transport if possible.
Our hotel is suitable for guests with physical disabilities and offers various facilities. On the left side of the main entrance, there is a separate, wheelchair-accessible entrance. This entrance is equipped with a lift for the disabled, and our staff is ready to welcome you there.
The majority of our hotel is accessible thanks to wide passages and threshold-free zones. Disabled toilets are available both on the ground floor and next to the wellness area. Assistance dogs are also warmly welcomed. You can book an adapted room upon request.

The entrance door of the adapted room is 95 centimeters wide. The room features a bed with a height of 60 cm, offering a turning radius of over 1.50 meters on the left side of the bed and 1.10 meters on the right side. Charging options are available on both sides of the bed.

The bathroom measures 237 x 354 cm (8.38 m²) and is accessible via a small ramp at the doorway, which is 102 cm wide. The bathroom features two fixed sinks at a height of 76 cm, both wheelchair-accessible.
The toilet is positioned at a height of 44 cm and equipped with two foldable support rails on either side. There is also ample space around the toilet for wheelchair maneuvering.
The walk-in shower is fitted with grab bars at a height of 70 cm and includes the option to shower while seated, using a portable shower stool.
